As you can see, we have separated performers into categories—not an easy thing to do with so many musical chameleons out there. Some performers could legitimately be placed in 3 or 4 categories. We took a shot at it and hope that it helps you select the performers you want to see onstage in April.

We have not included performers with fees of more than $125,000 for the simple reason that we can't afford it. As a non-profit community festival, we have budget limits, unlike festivals in other cities which are run by professional promoters for profit. The artists we can't afford include Tim McGraw, the Dave Matthews Band, the Dixie Chicks, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, The Eagles, Blink 182, Coldplay and more. (For example, Beyonce's fee alone is more than our entire budget.)

Below you'll find a diverse group of proven musical professionals, reflecting the diversity of Columbia and our Festivalgoers. All kinds of music for all kinds and ages of people.

Voting is easy. Select your first and second choice in each category, and let us know your favorite performer in that category who is not already listed. Multiple votes will not be counted—only the first vote from any individual will. Items in bold below are required in order for you to vote.
